25. april M-Learning
6. juni MTO (menneske, teknologi, organisasjon)

2:  A new Learning on Demand (LoD) report, "eLearning-Industry Report,"

The Learning-on-Demand (LoD) program's first industry report came in February 2000 with "The Emerging eLearning Industry" and was followed by "eLearning Industry Update 2002" in December 2002. Since then, eLearning has become a standard feature in large and midsize companies around the world, learning-management systems (LMSs) have become so commonplace that they now face commoditization, and key industry players have been through several rounds of consolidation. Although eLearning has not yet achieved the dizzying growth that some people hoped it would, it has performed reasonably well overall, and innovation is still occurring. This report reviews the state of the eLearning industry, examines likely future developments, and discusses implications for learning-technology vendors and enterprise adopters.

3: A new Learning on Demand (LoD) report, "Virtual Worlds for Learning and Training".

The growing popularity of virtual worlds in recent years--including the dramatic success of the massively multiplayer online game World of Warcraft as well as the rapid growth of Second Life, a visually rich, avatar-mediated three-dimensional virtual environment--is making available new online platforms and technologies that could take online learning and training to the next level, where new and different forms of socialization, communication, and collaboration can take place. This report explores how virtual worlds, and Second Life in particular, may find use in learning and training.

4: Leadership Development: Moving from Priority to Action

December 2006 - Josh Bersin skrevet for Chief Learning Officer.
A 2005 survey conducted by Bersin & Associates found organizations spend as much as 30 percent of their corporate training dollars on leadership development. This is no surprise. Around the globe, virtually all market sectors predict shortages of qualified leaders. It is also well-known that leadership skills drive results: High-quality leaders attract high-quality performers, which, in turn, build and grow the organization.

Despite the large investment in leadership programs and initiatives, research shows many companies still struggle to create and implement effective leadership development programs. In fact, corporatewide leadership development is one of the most challenging initiatives a learning organization will ever tackle.

When conducting in-depth, qualitative interviews with 20 companies, Bersin & Associates analysts found organizations shared several common challenges related to the implementation of effective leadership development programs. These include:

Lack of definition.
Little executive support or sponsorship.
Confusion.
Complexity.
